Land with Lauren is a real estate investing company that specializes in buying land all across Texas! We purchase properties directly from landowners, offering a fast, straightforward, and commission-free selling experience. We understand that parting with property can be challenging. Whether it’s land you’ve outgrown or a property that’s become more burden than blessing, we’re here to help you move forward. Our goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible, freeing you up to pursue new dreams and opportunities.
We’re Lauren and Zach, the faces behind Land with Lauren. Our story began right here in Austin at Baby A’s, an Austin Tex-Mex staple. Our journey took us from that first bowl of queso to a surprise proposal in Italy. What started as a shared love for cheese and Texas transformed into a partnership in both life and business.
About Lauren
Hey y’all! I’m a New Yorker turned Texan. After studying at Villanova Undergrad and Columbia Graduate School, I found my way to Austin and fell hard for Texas land. A trip to Big Bend sealed the deal – the raw beauty sparked something in me, and I knew I had to be part of it.
When I’m not exploring properties, you might find me:
- Hitting the slopes
- Jamming to funk music
- Planning my and Zach’s next adventure
- Cuddling with our cats, Janie and Oliver
At the end of the day, what matters most to me are my family, friends, and being a positive force in this world. I believe in living life to the fullest, embracing new experiences, and finding joy in the little things.
About Zach
I’ve lived in three corners of Texas – grew up in Houston, studied in Lubbock at Texas Tech (Guns Up!), and now call Austin home. I started out in accounting, crunching numbers. Turns out (surprise, surprise) helping folks sell their land and embark on their next life chapter is a lot more exciting than balancing books.
In my free time, you can find me:

- Looking for authentic new food experiences
- Enjoying stand-up comedy
- Beating Lauren at pickleball, pool, chess… the list goes on
